Kajukenbo was developed around 1947 in Hawaii by five instructors, each practicing a different martial art.  The styles include: Tang Soo Do, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Kenpo, and Kung Fu.  It is this mixture of both soft and hard, standing and ground martial arts that gives Kajukenbo its ability to defend in most any situation.  Kajukenbo combines a variety of both traditional and modern martial art techniques and principles.  In this class, you will learn techniques used for self-defense such as punches and kicks, forms which help you flow movements together, grab & hold escapes, punch & kick counters, speed striking, multiple attacker defenses, street & tournament sparring skills and some weapons training.  This Kajukenbo school is a continuous class.  There is no beginning or end to this class.  This makes it easy for you to join at any time with or without prior martial arts experience.
